Narragansett Tribal Police Investigating Fights At Powwow

Feather News

The AP reported that several fights broke out at the end of the Narragansett's annual powwow last Sunday. Rhode Island state police, Charlestown police and the Narragansett tribal police broke up the fights, which involved large groups.

The causes of the fights haven't been determined and no arrests were made. Last month, a Narragansett tribal member was stabbed at the Mashpee Wampanoag powwow in Massachusetts.
