An Old Forge man is accused of ramming his vehicle into a police cruiser at the entrance to Mohegan Sun at Pocono Downs on Wednesday night.

Police had stopped Bernie Hrobuchak’s vehicle around 8:54 p.m. for driving 22 mph over the speed limit on Route 315. He fled when officers told him his registration was invalid because he canceled his insurance, according to police.

Police say he turned into the entrance to the casino and rammed the cruiser when police tried to block him from traveling back onto Route 315.

Note: The man was charged with aggravated assault, fleeing police, resisting arrest, possession of marijuana and speeding.
